The idea for IMEX was born in 2001 with the vision of becoming more than just a meeting organizer. However, it wasn’t until April 2003 that its inaugural event was held in Frankfurt. Since then, this gathering of industry professionals has carved out a special place in the hearts of its participants.
As a result of the rapid growth of this prominent business forum, IMEX had to relocate to a larger venue in 2005, with Messe Frankfurt becoming its new home. However, the global expansion didn’t materialize until years later, in 2011, when the first edition of IMEX America was hosted in Las Vegas.
